Antiderivative

A function whose derivative is the given function.

If F'(x) = f(x) then F is an antiderivative of f. Any two antiderivatives of the same function differ only by a constant, so the indefinite integral is written ∫ f(x) dx = F(x) + C.

Formula

∫ f(x) dx = F(x) + C
